Who is Tennessee Backwater?? Let us share our journey with you. Hailing from Henning and Covington, Tennessee, we are passionate musicians and lifelong friends who have dedicated our lives to bringing our succinct sound to the stage.

Music is one of the many things that brought this trio together. Blake Daniels and Bo and Hunter Elder also have a deep-rooted affinity for farming, hunting and fishing. Bo and Hunter gained their foundation singing in church. Bo picked up guitar and started playing by ear while Hunter was drawn to the fiddle, which also led to mandolin and guitar. Blake stepped into the spotlight sharing his vocals and talent. All three members create and craft their own songs as songwriters, giving a deeper meaning to the lyrics and the music. The trio is creating an electrifying chemistry that captivates audiences everywhere they go. From festivals to private events their performances are infused with true heart and enthusiasm.
